What does Global Impex Do?
Global Impex USA is an international textile distributor and sourcing expert that specializes in business-to-business (BTB) sales. The company produces large quantities of artisanal, industrial, and military-grade textiles for clients who wish to create their products from the highest-grade material at the lowest cost. Global Impex USA also owns three subsidiaries, Gameday Merch Guild Apparel & Stryv Medical, which aid the company in more specialized forms of textile distribution. Gameday Merch and Guild Apparel supplies Global Impex USA’s retail-oriented clients with consumer textiles (T-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, etc.), while Stryv Medical produces medical scrubs and lab coats for large medical institutions and private practices.

Job Specific information
For our accounting interns, we seek self-motivated individuals who are not afraid to take action and think creatively. Finance & accounting interns will receive a comprehensive learning experience from a team of business professors who have extensive experience in the international textile industry. All Interns are given the freedom to experiment and implement creative ideas that will be used every day within the company. Interns in this role will complete cash flow statements, work directly with the owners, manage our payroll system, create financial statements, connect with potential investors, send invoices through QuickBooks, and present financial data to our executive team. We foster individual growth through mentorship and hands-on work experience. We provide ample opportunities for you to gain professional experience and test your potential!
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all accounting and finance-related work within the organization
Collaborate with the company's owners on financial statements and cash flow analysis
Present insights on financial data to our management team
Research and schedule meetings with private investors/investment firms
Manage product profitability, calculations, pricing, etc.
Manage payroll, QuickBooks invoicing, and other financial systems

What You’ll Receive
At the end of the internship, you:
Will be awarded a certificate after successful completion.
Will receive a $500 stipend and the potential for a $500 bonus along with a sales commission.
Will have the opportunity to gain a full-time position based on the performance of three semesters.
Could be promoted to team lead.
Could be part of the management team based on the performance review of the first 3 months.
Will be working with a team of interns from across the country from various schools and diverse backgrounds representing 10-20 leading schools in the country and abroad.
Will have regular and direct access to the management.
